What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Administrator position at Clearstead?
We are seeking a Systems Administrator at our downtown Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm. This position will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining Clearstead's IT infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting, end-user support and solution to ensure a secure and reliable environment.
In this position you will :
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software in a high availability environment.
- Support network and end-user remote office sites, which may require travel.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of on / off premise environments.
- Administration of users, groups and devices using Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Assist in situational awareness, enhance end user detection and prevention capabilities.
- Resolve escalated support issues and provide guidance and training, as needed.
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with all managed service providers.
- Microsoft 365 Administration, including product support.
- Remediation of security monitored alerts.
- Research and resolution of server log event.
- Assist in patch management planning and remediation across all platforms.
- Support remote user and VPN access.
- Maintain server backups and user level restores.
- Responsible for hardware purchasing, inventory management, and rotations.
- Participate in regular Cybersecurity audit and vulnerability assessments.
- Maintain strict access control protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Participate in the development of disaster recovery plans.
- Collaboration in support of project initiatives and evaluating emerging technologies for infrastructure improvement.
- After-hours support, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
