The Role
Clearstory is looking for a dynamic Product Designer to join our team and play a key role in shaping our user experience as we continue to scale. This person will report directly to our head of product and work closely with our product and engineering teams to create intuitive, user-friendly designs that enhance our product offerings. As a Product Designer, you will focus on improving workflows, creating elegant UI, and ensuring a seamless user experience that aligns with our customers' needs.
We have a clear and exciting roadmap in front of us. Our founder and team come from the industry we serve, and we know exactly what to build to continue innovating and delivering value to our customers. Requirements
Key Outcomes You Will Own and Drive
We want you to be a part of the Clearstory success story, so as you engage with us and our team members, it would be helpful for you to embody our core characteristics:
Clearstory is a first-of-its-kind, category-defining software that is revolutionizing the commercial construction industry. We are digitizing and automating the change order process inside construction projects, eliminating reliance on outdated methods like carbon copy paper, spreadsheets, and email.
Just as TurboTax did for tax documents and Bill.com did for accounts payable, Clearstory is streamlining change order communication in construction, leading to increased profits, stronger contractor relationships, greater transparency, and less wasted time and paper.
As a Series B SaaS company with strong market traction, we're on a mission to redefine how construction teams collaborate on cost management.
The Team You'll Be Surrounded By
Our team includes experienced SaaS sales, marketing, engineering, and product leaders, alongside professionals with deep expertise in commercial construction. We understand our customers' pain points and have built a category-defining product that serves them first.
You'll be part of an ambitious and collaborative company, committed to growing a supportive and diverse team that is passionate about empowering our contractor customers. More important than meeting 100% of qualifications, we're looking for collaborative, long-term team members with a growth mindset, proactive communication skills, and a bias toward action.
The Opportunity
As a Product Designer at Clearstory, you'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our rapidly growing product. You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience of a platform with strong product-market fit and a thriving customer base.
This is your chance to join a team that is bringing game-changing technology to a static, pen-and-paper-driven part of the construction industry. You'll work on innovative features, solve real-world problems, and be part of an exciting, high-growth environment.
