Sales Director, Financial Close
Location:
- Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
- Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
- Travel Expectations: 20 - 40%

What You’ll Do:
- Help drive growth and expand Clearsulting's market presence in its Financial Close Practice (BlackLine and SAP) by identifying new business opportunities.
- Lead pursuit efforts on identified opportunities including pursuit strategy, negotiations, and closing at existing and prospective clients.
- Responsible for conference and event management, including: identifying relevant industry conferences/events to participate in or sponsor, nurturing leads and facilitating meaningful interactions post conference/event to advance sales opportunities and analyzing ROI of conference/event participation.
- Collaborate internally with the Delivery Team, Client Relationship COE, Sales COE and Global Marketing teams on account management, priority RPFs and practice campaigns.
- Grow Clearsulting’s brand within the R2R/Financial Close sales ecosystem by owning and nurturing our alliance partner relationship with BlackLine.
What You’ll Bring:
- 8 years of experience working in the R2R/Financial Close or transformation space
- 3 years of experiences in supporting sale cycles and business development activities
- Experienced working with professional services in the office of the CFO
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with BlackLine
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record gaining access and influencing decision-makers at the highest levels in an organization
- Experience managing and mentoring team members
