Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales in a retail environment. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Utilize basic math skills to accurately process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
• Support supervisory staff by assisting in training new team members as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Needs to be able to operate different softwares efficiently
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
• Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus but not required.
