OBJECTIVE
As a trusted advisor, you have the opportunity to provide memorable experiences to our Clearview members! You will be educating members and potential members on solutions to their financial needs by promoting Clearview products and services, as well as handling transactions and teller services, all while developing relationships through engaging interactions! Your active participation in community events will be a contribution to others as well as to the growth of our Financial Centers. You will help members find value in their relationship with Clearview and demonstrate to non-members the reasons to choose Clearview!
WORKING HOURS
Flexible schedule based on operational needs; scheduled during the following hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 9am - 6pm
Saturday: 9am - 2pm
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three to five years of similar or transferrable experience required
- Two years of experience in a Financial Experience Advisor role preferred
- Certified and experienced NMLS preferred
- Excellent member service skills
- Ability to build relationships through sales and service
- Excellent communication skills in person and on telephone
- Expected to be our members advisor regarding lending, consumer, and business products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE FXA IV
- Perform opening and closing procedures and adhere to security policies; Ensure the financial center is in balance at the end of each day; cash management responsibilities of the Teller Line as needed. Certified and experienced NMLS; Interview members and process all Consumer, VISA, and Home Equity Loan requests: Offer debt protection to eligible loans by using Clearview’s corporate standards. Achieve credit union loan protection goals.
- Request and review credit reports, looking for additional loan opportunities to move to the credit union.
- Review derogatory credit with member, communicate with members on denied, counter offer and approved Consumer Loans while following proper procedures.
- Prepare loan documents for disbursal.
- Disburse consumer loans.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of loan policies, underwriting guidelines and rates.
- Provide general information on Business Loans and all services and products provided through electronic means.
- Responsible for branch outbound calling efforts to support branch growth, promotions, and follow up with members. Call list will be provided.
- Advising members on all areas of the credit to include, Savings, Checking, Loans, IRAs, Certificates, and Business products.
- Educate and increase member awareness of all credit union products, services and promotions.
- Build relationships by educating members and using CRM system via cases and leads and phone activities.
- Seize all sales opportunities by utilizing conversation and service techniques and conversations.
- Verify all new members and/or joint owners following the Customer Identification Program.
- Ensure delivery and follow up of new accounts, loan applications and problems daily.
- Support self-service digital channels at the financial center, (ATM, Claire, ITM/VTM, Online Banking, Clearview LIVE). Escort the member to these components for demonstrations or assisted transactions as appropriate.
- Provide rate quotes and process for all loan and savings products.
- Process requested transactions/maintenance of our core system.
- Process wire transfer requests using electronic on-line form (1st party and repetitive wire transfers).
- Willing and trainable to be a notary.
- Assist members with problems and complaints providing resolutions.
- Mail requested information/forms.
TELLER DUTIES
- Perform a variety of member service transactions, such as account holds, stop payment orders, Verification of Deposits and process direct deposit requests.
- Package and ship excess coin to the Federal Reserve.
- Verify cash from vault and follow Teller Policies and Procedures.
- Identify member and process teller transactions.
- Identify SBO (shared branch) member and process transactions (refer to SBO guidelines)
- Complete and/or verify credit union forms. Enter information on computer and/or communicate requests to specialized support department.
- Process mail deposits/payments.
- Open and process business night bags and perform other business account activities as required.
- Maintain neat appearance of workstations and teller area.
- Assist in balancing money orders.
- Balance cash drawer at the close of business.

- Participate in departmental campaigns/programs achieving individual and team goals.
- Participate in events that may impact the growth of the branch through involvement in the community.
- Keep informed of promotional and marketing mailings.

- Attend training sessions and meetings.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
