Sales Associate

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a motivated person to handle sales, showroom and some office responsibilities at a Swimming Pool, Fireplace and Hot Tub Store in Oswego, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize skills pertinent to the sales and customer service. This could become a full time position for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position includes: conducting sales presentations, assisting customers with their purchases, entering customer orders, answering incoming calls, keeping the showroom clean, organized and presentable for product demonstrations. Testing water, restocking inventory, etc. Consistently provide a quality customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent people skills with a strong positive attitude.

Ability to step into several positions in the store. (After Training)

Must be clean cut, reliable and have strong communication skills.

Must have a good attitude, personality and be open to learning.

Hours of operation are M-F 9-6 | Sat 9-4

Must be available on Saturdays.

Must have reliable transportation and have a valid drivers license.

Must have basic computer skills.

Must be excellent leader with great personal skills.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

We are a Non-Smoking Environment.

Any Sales or Clerk Experience. We offer web-based as well as in-house product training.

COMPENSATION:

Income is based on a Hourly Rate & Commission combination once training is complete. The income range for this position is dependent on experience and there is no cap on the amount of commission generated monthly. Our compensation program is designed to attract, motivate, develop and retain the very best people.

This is a part-time job but could become full-time for a qualified person. Health benefits & Retirement Plans are available after short waiting period for full-time employees.
