The Role Itself
- Oversees Counselors, Mental Health Therapists and Discharge Coordination.
- Maintains relationships with community referral sources and resources.
- Ensures consistent discharge planning, removing barriers.
- Implements hospital-approved programs consistently.
- Provides oversight to therapists, offering feedback.
- Ensures professional standards in interventions.
- Attends regular treatment team meetings.
- Actively participates in survey activities (TJC, Medicare, licensing).
- Coordinates performance improvement and monthly reporting.
- Participates in the complaint resolution process.
- Collaborates with the leadership team on hospital operations.
