Plans, designs, and implements scalable solutions between multiple platforms Responsible for system performance; supports/troubleshoots network issues. Develops tools to automate the deployment, administration, and monitoring of a system. Provides training to team members and assists with project planning and work on project implementation. Works with development teams to enhance and improve system operability. May be required to provide on-call service coverage with other department employees. Responsibilities:
- Identify and improve automation for the company/Ability to debug (stack trace, memory) and drive findings to resolution.
- Understanding of applicable cloud services (Serverless, containers, security, AWS well-arch framework).
- Communicates well and drives positive interactions within and between teams.
- Improves software/systems to accomplish team objectives.
- Owns a functional area. Breaks large requests down into sub-tasks.
- Solid understanding of team's domain.
- Documents key design, architecture, and processes.
- Builds well architected simple solutions to problems.
- Must have experience in AWS/GCP.
- Identify bottlenecks, opportunities, and issues in processes and systems and provide solutions to resolve them.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code, specifically Terraform.
- Examples of GCP/AWS infrastructure you’ve built out improved upon.
- Scripting and Automation experience.

- Ability to adapt easily to change, contribute while working as a team or individually.
- Passion for DevOps, continuous improvement, automation, security and infrastructure.
- Experience migrating applications between traditional data centers or AWS and GCP is preferred.
- Knowledge of systems and applications monitoring concepts and related applications preferred.
- Knowledge of Best Practices in Security, Configuration Management, High Availability and Disaster Mitigation preferred.
- Experience automating systems (experience with python preferred).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or a related field.
