Description
We are looking for a full-time Manager, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine. The Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the practice’s non-invasive cardiac imaging services and modalities.
The Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Manager is also responsible for coordinating activities within and between each department internal and external (i.e. Nursing, Research, HVOP office, Billing, and Accounting) to ensure collaboration and effect patient outcomes and provider support are met. This role will provide day-to-day administrative oversight and support to Patients, Clinic staff, and team members at multiple locations.
Ensure efficiency and CICARE standards for all outpatients encounters by continuously training and educating staff on workflow, setting clear expectations, and holding personnel accountable.
Directly supervise other administrative support staff, monitoring workflow, evaluating their performance, establishing procedures, and recommending systems for optimum performance. Maintain and improve daily clinic operations for all cardiac imaging clinic locations.
Directly responsible for maintaining accreditations (i.e. ICANL, etc.) and continuously improving quality standards across our clinics.
Assist with strategic growth planning for imaging and expense and budget management.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic and satellite locations, ensuring all operations run smoothly
- Manage and supervise administrative staff members, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care and efficient operations
- Monitor and manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians, vendors, and other healthcare organizations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Monitor patient satisfaction and address any issues or complaints
Qualifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to follow through on assignments.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to define the problem, identify relevant concerns or factors, identify patterns, tendencies and relationships and formulate logical object conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Graduate of an accredited and approved Nuclear Medicine program in addition to certification in Radiography or Computed Tomography
- At least ten years of health care experience with at least five years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Good working knowledge of cardiac care and general office management. Appropriate experience may substitute for college educational requirements.
- 5 year of NM experience working in an Imaging Department in a leadership capacity
License/Registration/Certifications
- Current CNMT or ARRT Registry in Nuclear Medicine and current Registry in NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) or ARRT(R)
- Current BLS
