What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Clearwater Casino & Lodge?
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS
The purpose of the class is to provide complimentary transportation of guests and VIPs between designated areas and the Gaming Enterprise casino entrance, according to pre-set scheduled times. The class works according to some procedures, but decides how and when to do things under general supervision. The position is under the direct supervision of the Valet/Shuttle Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
1. Provides courteous professional services and is cordial to internal and external guests and/or vendors.
2. Meets, greets and transports guests and VIPs over designated route to and from casino, demonstrating positive guest service skills.
3. As needed, provides assistance to passengers in entrance or exit of vehicle and/or loading and unloading of baggage.
4. Maintains knowledge of: current casino/hotel activities and promotions; local history, attractions and services; and the Nez Perce Tribe, and communicates such information to shuttle guests.
5. Provides assistance to supervisor in determining shuttle routes.
6. Monitors and logs transport counts on an hourly basis.
7. Checks vehicle log for vehicle up keep, communicates maintenance needs to supervisor. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of vehicles. Prepare work orders for vehicle repair and forward to supervisor.
8. Maintains working knowledge of and uses communication 10 codes with team members; maintains knowledge of various emergency codes and responds appropriately.
9. Follows vehicle internal control procedures.
10. Maintains CPR certification and performs or assists with CPR as needed.
11. As necessary: changes flat tires; installs snow chains.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Motor Vehicle Report required.
- Minimum of one (1) month experience in guest focused environment required.
- Must be able to safely operate vehicle in all weather conditions, including slippery snow/ice covered roads.
Must be able to pass background check to obtain Nez Perce Tribal Gaming License. Must be willing to submit pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
