We're Seeking an Accomplished HR Manager!
We're looking for an experienced HR professional to join our office in Clearwater. This role offers the opportunity to balance day-to-day operational excellence with strategic vision while working closely with company leadership and our dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist. Your efforts will ensure we attract, develop, and retain top talent in support of our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness
- Create, update, and communicate policies and procedures to maintain compliance
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent development initiatives
- Establish and refine performance management processes
Operational Management
- Oversee payroll administration and benefits management through Gusto
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, documentation, and reports
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
Culture & Employee Experience
- Champion a positive, inclusive workplace that reflects company values
- Develop engagement initiatives to enhance retention and job satisfaction
- Coach managers on effective leadership and people management practices
- Address workplace conflicts and performance issues promptly and thoughtfully
- Act as a trusted HR advisor and resource for employees across all departments
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of combined strategic and hands-on HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (experience with Gusto is a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance HR strategy with day-to-day execution
- Background in construction, home improvement, or service industries a plus
