What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Retail Specialist position at Clearwater Systems?
Customer Impact: Creates a welcoming environment for customers purchasing vended water, salt, filters, and other related products. Also assists customers with inquiries on water treatment equipment and schedules sales appointments for Water Specialists. This role will float between our retail locations, so reliable transportation is required, and mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Overview: Full-time benefits include earning vacation time and holidays right away. Get paid early with On-Demand payments. Other full-time benefits including health, dental & vision are available within 90 days. We are closed on Sundays and holidays. Most work is conducted between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Key Duties:
- Completes customer transactions through point-of-sale system.
- Assists customers with loading products into vehicles.
- Discusses possible equipment needs with customers; schedules sales appointments for interested customers.
- Tests water for customers. Offers solutions based on results.
- Resolves customer concerns. Escalates matter to management if necessary.
- Responsible for cash, check, and credit card accuracy.
- Secures cash for the register, makes nightly deposits and change orders at designated bank.
- Ensures accurate inventory through ordering/counting/maintenance/transfers.
- Loads and unloads trucks via forklift, organizes warehouse.
- Follows company protocol to ensure products in showroom are displayed in a professional way to increase sales.
- Provides general housekeeping, upkeep, and maintenance of the facility both inside and out.

Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic PC skills or ability to quickly learn to navigate web browsers, company software, email, and mobile applications.
- Math Concepts: Ability to understand and quickly calculate cash/change making, percentages, tax, inventory counts and other business functions.
- Company Acumen: Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Certificate and Licenses: Previous forklift experience preferred.
