Function:
The Drafter’s primary role is to support the engineering and sales teams with scenic, rendering, and general drafting tasks. A key function of this position is maintaining, organizing, and updating a venue library for easy access and reference. Effective communication, attention to detail, and team support are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering and Sales in the creation of visual renderings, added scenic elements, and drawing annotations
- Implements technical data into the project file per the advice and direction of the engineering team
- Layout initial drawings for engineering to work in
- Convert drawings between different drawing platforms to ensure compatibility and seamless workflow across teams
- Maintain and update a comprehensive venue library for easy access to past designs and technical specifications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting software and industry trends

Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Three (3) years’ experience in the live entertainment industry
- Vectorworks
- AutoCAD preferred
- Sketch Up preferred
- Ability to work in high stress environment with tight deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, and other Microsoft apps
Physical Working Conditions:
- Regularly bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry, lift 50-75 lbs
- Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Work "on-call" as needed including some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work long hours and overtime as required
- Able to Travel (possibly with short notice)
