Description
Function:
The System Installation Technician is responsible for working on job sites to mount and rig AV equipment. They are an important part of our team that help bring our projects to life and create amazing experiences for our customers.
This is a short-term need for someone to support a job that will be working periodically from March - September for 1-2 weeks at a time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand project expectations and timelines
- Read and interpret CSI and Architectural engineering drawings
- Learn and apply CSI installation standards
- Pull wire for projects
- Terminate wire to plates, panels and racks
- Lace, terminate and label rack wiring in equipment racks
- Mount and rig AV equipment including displays, screens, projectors, speakers, cameras, racks, etc. and/or mounting and rigging of lighting equipment including fixtures, network devices, etc.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, test, and correct your own work
- Maintain clean working areas
- Be vigilant about job site safety and report hazards immediately.
- Take care of company tools and equipment, ensuring their safekeeping and maintenance.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well maintained.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude as a representative of Clearwing
Qualifications
Skill/Experience Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience installing performance-based AV or theatrical lighting systems
- Competent in the use of power tools, hand tools, and measuring devices
- Possess basic math skills necessary for a construction environment

ETCP Lighting and ETC ASP certifications required.

CTS - I Certification preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Working Conditions
- Regularly bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry, lift 50-75 lbs.
- Comfortably work at heights, on ladders, lifts, and stage grids
- Physical ability to walk, crawl, and work in difficult positions and areas
- Work in various temperatures and outdoor weather conditions.
- Valid Drivers’ License and Clean MVR.
