Function
In this position, the leader of our systems integration business will oversee and direct efforts for our Arizona and Wisconsin offices. While we are strategically located in these cities, this position is responsible for ensuring we successfully deliver projects nationwide. The leader is responsible for strategy and vision, oversight of operations, engineer and installation, and working closely with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing to profitably deliver on awarded scopes. This person will lead and oversee a team responsible for delivering permanent system installations while keeping in alignment with our core values: Be Agile, Own Your Job, Learn and Grow and Do the Next Right Thing. This position reports to the COO.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor divisional managers to build and sustain high-performing teams focused on operational excellence.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning within the division.
- Track performance metrics to ensure that individuals and departments are focused on delivering value and accomplishing company objectives.
- Manage the overall people plan for the division including hierarchy, personnel resource allocation, new position creation, etc.
- Work with VP of Sales to determine criteria for project selection and sure that all projects meet those criteria.
- Enhance weekly and monthly key indicator reports and research expectations.
- Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, Finance, and HR to ensure cohesive execution of company initiatives.
- Strategically manage cap-ex needs.
- Complete financial understanding of the division including past performance, future pipelines, strengths and areas of opportunity.
- Responsible for ensuring all legal and safety aspects of the division are operating in compliance with local, state and federal laws and requirements.
- Assist COO and VP of Finance and Accounting in managing all key 3rd party relationships such as legal, banking, insurance and any additional relationships necessary to the normal operation of the business.
Qualifications
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years successfully leading a multi-location business unit and coaching a team, preferably in the performance technology integration space.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Excellent understanding of executive level business drivers, value expectations and ROI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Strong desire to help others succeed.
- Ability to lead, teach, coach, optimize and inspire a team to accomplish goals.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills.
- Well organized with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with EOS/Traction preferred.
