Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible in various aspects related to cash management and reporting including payments, receipts, investing, fx, and cash forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Makes time sensitive local and international payments
- Reports on the Firm’s cash balances and transactions
- Produces short term and long term cash forecasts
- Reports on the Firm’s cash and investments and fx activity
- Liaises with bank partners on various issues and projects
- Maintains treasury policies and procedures.
- Monitors bank service fees and address saving opportunities
- Oversees and executes special projects as required
- Additional duties as directed by the Treasury Manager
Qualifications
Ideal Experience:
- Undergraduate university degree ideally in a business-related field
- Recent undergraduate and/or those with one to two year experience starting on their career
- Experience/interest in dealing with financial and/or treasury matters
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Critical Competencies for Success:
- The role is ideal for individuals eager to learn more and gain experience in the private treasury function as well as those with an interest in the fixed income and foreign exchange market
Other Personal Characteristics:
- A hard-working individual who is flexible to the peak busy periods of the Firm
- Organized and able to work on current due items while still maintaining deadlines on other tasks
- An individual who wants to know why a process is done and in time will make recommendations on how to improve it
*The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is non-exempt, meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
