Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Drafter to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Drafter prepares and maintains drawings using conventional drafting techniques, as well as a working knowledge of drafting and manufacturing systems and processes.

Job Location: Thomasville, GA
Essential functions:
- Prepares and maintains mechanical/dimensional drawings to support senior drafters, designers, and engineers.
- Prepares and maintains layout drawings used to establish final details of sub-components.
- Selects appropriate templates and other equipment needed.
- Initiates Engineering Notices as required and generates complete Bills of Materials.
- Calculates dimensions and specifies standard allowances as directed.
Other Duties: As assigned
Internal Contacts: Occasional contacts requiring the obtaining or giving of information.
External Contacts: Regular contacts requiring work of non-controversial nature.
Basic Requirements:
Education: 2-3 year Degree/certificate in Technical Field
Experience: 0 to 3 months, Experience in AutoCAD (mechanical or electrical), Experience in reading or developing electrical schematics
Physical Skill & Effort: Work requires skilled, accurate, rapid, and closely coordinated manual skill. Work involves fairly light and simple types of physical exertion.
Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions.
