Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Monroe, WI. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and repair maintenance to all plant equipment / facilities in accordance to work instructions and equipment manufacturers’ specifications.

Essential functions :
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and follow various work instructions.
- Perform all preventive and repair maintenance in accordance to work instructions and equipment manufacturers’ specifications.
- Proficient at troubleshooting problems and visualizing necessary repairs.
- Proficient using various hand and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving.
- Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.

Basic Requirements :
Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience : 2 years in a manufacturing environment that include CNC equipment
Physical Skill & Effort :
Standing, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs., periodically during an 8 to 12 hr. work shift. Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools.
Working Conditions and Hazards :
Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of : safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection. Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include a face shield, respirator, etc.
