Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure quality patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, particularly in infectious disease care.
- Assist with specimen collection processing and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide guidance on acute care practices, including spinal taps and sonography procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in home care and hospital medicine settings.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
Experience
- A valid nursing license is required, with experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Previous experience in managing or leading a nursing team is advantageous.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols is essential.
