We are seeking responsible individuals to be a part of our Front Desk Receptionist team as a Patient Care Coordinator. Sales or Quality Customer Service experience is given preference.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in scheduling annual eye exams
- Confirm patient appointments
- Greet patients with a welcoming greeting and smile when they enter the office
- Help patients check in for their appointments and complete initial documentation
- Recall patients when they are due for their next exam
-Verify medical and vision insurance prior to patients' appointments
Experience
- Experience in scheduling appointments/front desk/insurance verification, particularly in an optical setting, is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person!
- Exceptional phone skills
- Friendly and personable
- Strong multi-tasker who enjoys staying busy
