Job Description
The Plant Engineer II – Power Plant provides engineering and technical support/assistance for operating, maintenance, and performance issues at regulated and unregulated plants in the Cleco fleet. This includes technical support, troubleshooting, development of technical specifications for repairs and component replacements, project development and management, contractor management and tracking, outage planning and support, and root cause failure analyses.
This role requires a basic knowledge of power plant processes, operations, maintenance, and engineering. You will manage routine matters with direction from senior engineers and provide engineering and technical support and assistance for operating, maintenance, and performance issues.
