Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team.
The Quality Control Associate is responsible for knowing, teaching, supporting, and ensuring the implementation of all processes, policies, requirements, and standards. This position requires exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English, unwavering patience, strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, advanced problem-solving capacity, and a high level of initiative and accountability. Prioritization of safety, 6-S principles, and honesty are essential to this position.
Work Requirements
Maintain safety requirements, wearing proper PPE
· Learn and be able to teach every process and production standard on the floor
· Implement and ensure company-wide compliance with customer requirements, quality expectations, and regulatory/industry standards
· Inspect in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production supervisors
· Inspect incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods for any quality issues and imperfections
· Support all production processes as necessary to ensure goals and standards are met
· Communicate inspection results with production leaders and plant managers
· Document quality issues and rejects through a process of written reporting
· Apprehend all materials or products that fail to meet spec and work with purchasing/engineering to resolve
· Return product to lines/cells for re-work when needed
· Conduct water tests of finished products as part of quality assurance
· Team collaboration and respect of others throughout the plant
· Ability to read and understand blueprints/CAD drawings
· Encourage the 6-S culture of safety and cleanliness
· Provide translation as needed
· Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
