We’re looking for an Auto Body Mechanic to join our team and keep our fleet of diesel trucks looking sharp and running strong. Your work will be essential in ensuring our vehicles meet the highest safety, structural, and aesthetic standards as they transport goods critical to our operations.

What You’ll Do:
- Assess & Repair: Inspect and repair truck exteriors, including dents, dings, and structural damage.
- Replace Parts: Remove damaged panels, bumpers, or trim and install replacements with precision.
- Surface Prep & Painting: Sand, prime, and paint vehicle surfaces for a polished finish, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Fiberglass & Metal Work: Apply techniques to restore body components to original strength and appearance.
- Quality Control: Ensure all repairs meet safety, structural, and aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate: Partner with maintenance teams to maintain fleet functionality and documentation.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: 2–5 years of auto body repair experience; semi-truck or heavy equipment repair is a plus.
- Skills: Expertise in welding, sanding, painting, and working with various materials like fiberglass, plastics, and metals.
- Tools: Proficiency with body shop equipment (spray guns, grinders, sanders); must provide basic tools up to ½” drive.
- Certifications: Respirator Fit Test; I-CAR certifications preferred.
- Physical Ability: Lift up to 100 lbs and perform tasks requiring strength and stamina.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure a flawless finish and adherence to safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- Primarily in our body shop, with occasional outdoor work.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and fumes; proper safety equipment provided.
- Requires climbing ladders or scaffolding for high-reach repairs.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (day shift), with occasional overtime as needed.
