Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machinery in the rendering room, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and breakdowns without requiring expert maintenance support.
- Handle raw materials from harvest (e.g., blood, hair, guts, and bones) and process them into high-quality animal feed.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including climbing silos to clean pipes and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Use a jockey truck to move trailers and tankers for loading and cleaning.
