What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wastewater Treatment Technician - 2nd Shift position at Clemens Family Corporation?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

**This position requires one who is multi-task oriented and a team player. Is responsible for the daily operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) while maintaining and always looking for future improvements. .**
Plant Operation:
- Operator must understand the complete flow process.
- Must be able to monitor analytical equipment, diagnose, and make chemical changes, as needed.
- Should have a basic knowledge of chemistry and biology with the ability to do minimal analytical lab work.
- Should be able to maintain and/or repair individual problems as needed. Maintenance of plumbing and electronic equipment is helpful.
- Must be able to compute and document information from process.
- Must be physically capable of climbing ladders up to 30 feet.
- Should be able to operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and barrel drums, which may be required to move chemical drums weighing up to 750 lbs.
- Operate power equipment such as fork lifts and 5th wheel to jockey trailers, may be required.
Plant Safety: The operator will be responsible for compliance of safety requirements.
- Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy working condition at all times.
- Must be capable of following specific safety procedures and caring for various safety equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus equipment.
- Must have an awareness of chemical safety and associated hazards.
Other responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to follow instructions with limited supervision
- Must have the ability to communicate questions and problems relating to plant operations back to the supervisor.
- Ability to be flexible. The work environment is constantly changing.
- Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Hearing protection, safety shoes, hard hat.
