Clementine’s is Saint Louis’ first microcreamery. We handcraft small batch ice creams and sorbets, incorporating some of St. Louis’ favorite local ingredients to serve our local community.
We are looking for a Ice Cream Parlor Manager to join our Retail Team. Seeking charismatic trailblazers with strong communication skills. Our Ice Cream Parlor Managers exemplify the magic that is The Clementine's experience. By leading through example and coaching Scooper behaviors, ensuring our customers have a meaningful experience in our scoop shops. Scoop managers are responsible for building community and making us the destination of choice. They promote creativity and inclusion and treat their customers and teams with respect and kindness
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for shop being open and ready for customers during all posted operating hours
- Manage and control shop expenses including inventory and payroll expense
- Ensure shop delivers world class customer service
- Maintain full complement of flavors for our customers
- Maintain a well merchandised and inviting retail area
- Ensure building maintenance and repairs
- Recruit, interview, hire, train and develop a great team of Scoopers
- Write effective schedules within the payroll guidelines
- Process biweekly payroll
- Deliver growth in sales year over year
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of leadership and sales driving experience
- Ability to create and maintain a culture of happiness and community
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to situations that may arise with customers and scoopers
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop
