Job Type:
Full-time. Clinic hours are 7:30-5:30 M-F. Typically, our technicians work 4 of the 5 days, with a consistent day off each week.
Pay: From $20 per hour, compensated for higher experience and/or license
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:- Phlebotomy
- IV Catheter placement
- Fluid administration
- Anesthesia monitoring
- SQ, IV, and IM injections
- Preparing and reviewing treatment plans with clients
- Care of hospitalized patients
- Fear Free handling
- Administration of radiographs
- Ultrasound-guided cysto
- Dental scaling and charting
- Placing radiographs on the x-ray table, as well as dental x-rays
- Handling and charting of controlled drugs
- Drug and medication calculation
- Follow-up communication with clients
- Pre-appointment telephone triage
- Sterilization of surgical instruments
- Collection of TPRs
- Compilation of subjective history from clients
- Entering charges into PMS
- Client education for wellness care standards
- Customer Service
- Emergency triage
- Responding to technician call-backs (go-between when clients have questions or concerns for doctors outside of appointments)
Skills Required: We will train you if you are unfamiliar with our clinic software (ezyVet). We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, and in-house soft-tissue, dental, and orthopedic surgeries. We currently have in-house IDEXX labwork and Antech reference labwork. We prefer previous experience with phlebotomy, wellness care, catheter placement, assisting in surgery (monitoring, dental scaling, polishing, and probing), how to set up, restock, and sanitize and prepare surgical packs), as well as experience with reviewing standards of care with clients, going over treatment plans (estimates), entering charges and explaining administration of medications.
