Clements Fluids is looking for a dedicated and mechanically inclined Plant Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in drilling fluids or oil and gas services who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. General Summary Of The Position

Clements Fluids is seeking work-over and completion employees to assist fluid technicians in mixing products, keeping up with fluid loss, managing warehouse duties, loading and unloading chemicals, and operating a forklift. The ideal candidate will bring experience in work-over and completion services and a strong work ethic.

  • Leadership/Management/Accountability → Ownership & Teamwork

Contribute to a high-performance team by taking ownership of responsibilities and collaborating effectively.

  • Follow plant leadership directives to support operational goals
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with team members and supervisors
  • Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure they are completed safely and efficiently
  • Assist in training new team members and sharing best practices
  • Report issues promptly and suggest improvements to enhance plant operations
  • Operational Excellence → Precision in Production & Maintenance

Ensure plant processes run smoothly by executing daily tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain plant equipment according to procedures
  • Follow established processes to blend, transfer, and store fluids with precision
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Keep the plant clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety
  • Customer Service & Quality Assurance → Product Integrity & Reliability

Support customer satisfaction by ensuring product quality and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Adhere to blending and testing protocols to meet quality standards
  • Verify product specifications before transferring or loading fluids
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for customer deliveries
  • Assist drivers with loading operations to maintain efficiency and safety
  • Document and address any quality concerns to maintain high service standards
  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance → Safety-First Work Practices

Maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

  • Follow all HSE guidelines, including PPE use and hazard awareness
  • Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and report potential hazards
  • Participate in required safety training and emergency preparedness drills
  • Properly handle and dispose of materials to prevent environmental impact
  • Maintain situational awareness to prevent accidents and ensure team safety
  • Financial Management & Reporting → Resource Efficiency & Compliance

Help control costs and improve plant efficiency through responsible resource management.

  • Use materials efficiently to minimize waste and control costs
  • Ensure proper documentation of inventory, maintenance, and production activities
  • Follow standard operating procedures to reduce downtime and equipment damage
  • Report any inefficiencies or needed repairs to minimize disruptions
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements

Details/Requirements

  • Must have experience in work-over and completion
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Must pass a pre-employment lift test and physical
  • Must have a valid and clear driver's license
  • This position is a full-time position with rotating hours
  • Be able to pass the pre-employment drug tests
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be willing to travel
  • The position might require work on location
