What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Deli Manager position at Clements' Marketplace?
Clements' Marketplace seeks a highly motivated assistant manager to perform a number of critical deli functions at our location in Plymouth, MA (Manomet). Clements' is a family owned and operated business with four locations and ties to RI & MA since 1980. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor the freshness of products and manage inventory.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines. Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
- Assist in the daily operation of our deli department to ensure customer service standards are met.
- Work closely with other staff members and store manager to maintain department goals.
This position may perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Working experience in a related field strongly preferred.
- Ability to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
