Clemson University’s Department of Political Science seeks a part-time lecturer to teach courses in homeland security, with an emphasis on cybersecurity and related topics for its online Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering graduate-level courses on cybersecurity, fostering student engagement, and contributing to the program’s mission of preparing public service professionals. The selected candidate will normally deliver one live (synchronous) online course each semester. The position’s teaching duties may be completed remotely but, the selected candidate must deliver instruction from a location in the United States.
Qualifications
The selected candidate must hold a Ph.D. in political science, public policy, policy studies, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in the U.S. military, national security agencies, or other relevant fields is highly desirable.
