We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team located near downtown Palm Beach Gardens!
Join our Palm Beach Gardens team as a Data Entry Clerk in our civil or criminal department. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our court records. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent typing skills, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about the different types of cases that are filed in the civil or criminal department. You will gain knowledge of a variety of different court documents, become familiar with State Statutes, and much more! Positions available: We are hiring data entry clerks in the following areas of our Palm Beach Garden office:
- Civil – cases involve Evictions, Foreclosures, Lawsuits, Marriage Licenses & Passports.
- Criminal - cases involve Traffic Violations, Misdemeanors & Felonies.

Examples of Essential Functions
Performs complex data entry for docketing functions; creates entry for each document; monitors image for quality and clarity
Issues, process writs and other documents; cashiers-related fees
Prepares notice of bond forfeitures; processes written orders; records bookings; sets court hearings and notice parties
Prepares court event forms for court session
Adds and updates party/attorney information in the system; updates case status
Screens indigency applications; determines whether to grant, deny, or refer to the Court
Processes new cases, including multiple case types and transfers from other courts/venues; assigns case types; indexes parties and associating attorneys; handles specialized processes/procedures
Processes Judicial reassignments/recusals; updates system; issues notice of reassignment; notifies newly assigned Judge and parties/counsel of the change
Forward filings to the Court or the appropriate functional area as warranted
Assist customers in person and by telephone
Performs related duties as directed
Typical Qualifications
High school diploma (or GED), supplemented by three (3) years of recent and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data, preferably in an automated systems environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Some vocational or college courses preferred. Once qualified, deputization may be required to perform the assigned functions.
