FACILITIES MANGEMENT DIRECTOR

Clermont County is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Director to oversee the operations, maintenance, and safety of county buildings and infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading a dedicated team, managing facility projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with county leadership on strategic planning for facility improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance, custodial work, and groundskeeping across county facilities
• Manage facility-related projects, including construction, repairs, and upgrades
• Develop and implement workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations
• Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors
• Manage budgets, contracts, and procurement for facility operations
• Assist with long-term strategic planning for county facilities

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Building Sciences, Construction, or a related field, or at least five years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership background with experience managing teams in facilities or construction management
• Knowledge of building operations, safety standards, and budget management
• Ability to develop work programs, oversee maintenance schedules, and manage large-scale facility projects
• Valid driver’s license required
