Pay Range per CBA : $24.50 / hr Minimum
Monday - Friday with Evening / Weekends possible, subject to recall

Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Control Systems, or Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred. OEPA Class II, or greater, Wastewater Treatment License preferred. Must have experience in computer programming, process control, troubleshooting, control systems, and network maintenance and operation. Must be able to read and understand construction drawings, including instrumentation diagrams and ladder logic diagrams. Must be able to cooperate with coworkers on group projects. In the work environment, safety and / or health may be a factor (e.g., exposure to dirt, dust varying temperatures and dangerous equipment). The work involves moderate lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, stooping and bending. Working in close proximity to motorized equipment and tools require normal vision and hearing acuity. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor performs installation, calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and controls at wastewater treatment facilities. Performs troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of hardware and software, including SCADA systems. Manages and maintains all wastewater process control systems. Operates, instructs and informs operators on proper usage. Documents maintenance history and system modifications.
Works cooperatively with electrical / mechanical maintenance staff to successfully implement and maintain the wastewater collection system SCADA. Performs troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of hardware, software, instrumentation and controls at various collection system sites (e.g. lift stations, flow stations, equalization facilities)
Provides recommendations to supervisor for process and process control improvements at wastewater treatment facilities.
Works alone or with other persons in short- or long-term team projects to resolve problems or conflicts in any area of county operations or to complete assigned projects at the direction of any county supervisor or Department Head when assigned. Participates in cross-training and maintains proficiency in area of cross-training as necessary. New and other related duties as assigned. Reports safety / risk management issues to immediate supervisor.
