Truck Shop Lead Technician

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Truck Shop Lead Technician.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful parts professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The truck shop group leader technician will prioritize their time to perform any production work while fulfilling the duties of a Group Leader
• Lead production staff
• Discuss repair needs with customers
• Assign technicians with service repair work
• Organize and maintain shop schedules to meet deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

• Experience with Cat, Cummins, Detroit, Bendix, Wabco and Allison computer applications
• Previous and effective experience as a Group Leader
• Basic/intermediate computer skills
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with CAT computer applications
• Thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures focusing on work order processes
• Knowledge of product and part inventory
• Working skills in researching and ordering of parts coupled with computer supported clerical ability
• Ability to organize and prioritize work based on time constraints
• Strong communication skills for dealing with customers and fellow employees
• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
