Summary Description
The Cleveland Browns are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented and enthusiastic Youth Football Seasonal Intern who will assist in the implementation and support of all youth & high school football programming while collaborating in accordance with the Browns Give Back vision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the department's mission and objectives.
- Assist with increasing youth football growth and awareness in Northeast Ohio.
- Support community visits for grassroots and in-school programming.
- Proactively capture metrics for programs/initiatives to help generate recaps/reports.
- Responsible for producing written content through recaps, creative writing, and email communication, and developing content for internal and external communication.
- Assist with developing social media content, and calendar.
- Maintain photo galleries, archive and track media coverage from recent community engagement events/programs and oversee website updates.
- Assist with research and data analysis for regional and national youth football trends.
- Help assist other internal departments on special projects.
- Provide positive customer service with knowledge of Browns Give Back platform.
- Assist in implementing various Browns Youth Football Camps, Clinics, and NFL initiatives throughout the year.
- Learn internal process and submit formal internal requests (Mascot, photo, video, etc.).
- Support and help prepare presentations for audiences ranging from coaches to parents.
- Daily administrative duties; mail, phones, filing, record keeping, etc.
- Prepare materials and equipment needs for events and activations.
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned by reporting to Youth Football Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in sports marketing, parks & recreation, communications, administration or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- General knowledge of the objectives and rules of the game of American football

- Accustomed to event management
- Proactive, collaborative, creative thinker with a strong work ethic.
- Resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Work environment will involve standing and walking outdoors for extended periods of time, more than (4-6) hours on event days and requires handling of weighted objects up to 70-80 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Canva
