Description of the Role
Greenville Children's Clinic, a division of Cleveland Children's Clinic, PLLC is currently seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Greenville, Mississippi. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare to pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments for pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and perform necessary medical procedures
- Monitor patients' progress and ensure appropriate follow-up visits
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements
- Valid certification and licensing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in pediatrics
- Prior experience in a similar role strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
