Cleveland-Cliffs, Mansfield Works operation, has an immediate opening for a Lead Process Controls Engineer. The Lead Process Controls Engineer supervises and directs all process control engineer activities, capital improvement projects, major maintenance projects, and product development support. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and communicator with decision-making and planning skills.

Summary Of Responsibilities
- Provides engineering services and expertise in supervisory control systems (PLC, PC based applications, databases, business systems and other devices)
- Direct the management of capital project activities
- Assign and direct company and contract personnel
- Function as Project Manager for large capital projects
- Responsible for checking that plant equipment is maintained correctly
- Able to work extended hours to support operations occasionally during and outside maintenance outages
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 5-10 years work experience in engineering and maintenance in an industrial environment
- Experience with current programming languages
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision making and planning skills
- 10-15 years plus experience in engineering, maintenance, or project management
- Experience in steelmaking facility
- Experience in a union environment
