Medical Director, Neurosurgery
The Neurological Institute is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Medical Director of the Department of Neurosurgery. As the Director of the Department of Neurosurgery, you will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated physicians, specialists, and support staff to advance clinical services, research, education, and the overall development of the department. You will oversee operations for the Neurosurgery department for our Cleveland Clinic Martin Health and Cleveland Clinic Indian River locations.
Qualifications :
- Medical Degree (MD, DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Neurosurgery.
- Significant leadership experience in a neurosurgery department or healthcare leadership position, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing clinical, operational, and academic programs.
- Proven ability to lead a large, multidisciplinary team in a complex healthcare environment.
- Clinical expertise in neurosurgery, including a broad range of procedures and specialized treatments.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and patient safety.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire staff, faculty, and patients.
- A track record of success in academic or clinical research, with a passion for advancing knowledge in the field.
