Weston Hospital's Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) provides care to various surgical and cardiovascular patient populations. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, monitoring patients' health, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining up-to-date patient records. On this nursing team, you will feel supported and appreciated for the knowledge you must share and have access to our advanced technology and research to ensure all patients receive world-class care.
A caregiver in this position works Nights, from 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am.
Caregiver needs 2-3 years RN experience in Tele, IMCU / Stepdown or ICU.
A caregiver who excels in this role will :
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
