In this role, you will be responsible for caring for cardiac patients and monitoring their heart rhythms. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and shaving patient skin to place electrodes, replacing electrodes daily, changing batteries in telemetry devices, and explaining telemetry to patients.
To succeed in this position, you should have the following qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One-year of current acute care RN experience; licensed military RN experience also considered
