Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, manage, and determine whether injuries require referral to a physician.
- Maintain medical files on athletes and serve as a liaison for communication between physicians and athletes.
- Implement treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in training new Athletic Trainers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an Athletic Training Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Ability to work in settings with infectious diseases while adhering to standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
