Responsibilities:
- Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information.
- Provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and related issues.
- Assists with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning.
- Consults with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Performs special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification preferred.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Minimum two years financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Offset: High School diploma/GED and six years of experience.
- Offset: Associate’s degree and four years of experience.
- Offset: Master’s degree and one year of experience.
- Offset: Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset one year of required experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $22.85
Maximum hourly: $34.85
