Twinsburg Family Health and Surgery Center offers a 24-hour Emergency Department with a helipad. This full-service ED is staffed and designed to provide quick and easy access for adults and children. Under the supervision of an RN and physician, an LPN will help ensure patients receive the critical attention they need while visiting the unit. In this role, you will interact with new people every day, offering endless opportunities to leave a positive and lasting impact.
A caregiver in this position works varying shifts between 11:00AM - 11:30PM and 7:00PM - 7:30AM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Collect, document and report patient data and observations.
- Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
- Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
- Maintain professional growth and development within nursing field.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- One year of patient care experience

Physical Requirements:
- Full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
- Extensive standing and walking
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Medium Work, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Physical Demand requirements in excess of those for Light Work

- Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
