About the Role
This position requires working varying shifts on our East Wing med/surg unit, which can be utilized for swing, rehab, observation, and inpatient care. As a caregiver in this role, you will work closely with a small, flexible team and have opportunities to learn from experienced caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for assigned patients
- Utilize the nursing process in planning and achieving goal-directed outcomes for patient care
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary team personnel
- Maintain the standards of nursing care and implement the policies and procedures of the hospital and nursing department
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Physical Requirements
- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours
