At Cleveland Clinic's Euclid Hospital, you will be part of a dynamic community-based hospital that provides world-class patient care to the communities in and around Cuyahoga County on the beautiful coast of Lake Erie.
The 8th floor Med/Surg and Telemetry Unit is a 31-bed unit that specializes in advanced telemetry. This unit has an average daily census of 25 and is comprised of 7 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms, and a 4-bed observation room for patients who may be confused, at risk for falls, or in need of visual monitoring.
Role Responsibilities
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability).
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent risk.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients' medical records.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
