As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for physical assessments, exercise prescriptions, motivation, policy enforcement, record keeping and providing excellent customer service at all times to every member.
A caregiver in this position works days, 6:00am – 4:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Schedule and administer computerized Health Risk Appraisals and Physical Fitness Assessments to new and existing clients at least three times per year.
Prescribe individual exercise programs that follow the guidelines adopted by Akron General LifeStyles based on assessment results and client goals.
Maintain a record of past and present clients' attendance and payments.
Review all policies and procedures with each client verbally.
Provide floor coverage during times of need.
Follow the established procedure for repair of equipment found to be malfunctioning.
Display proficiency in the operation of the computer hardware and KI software.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in athletic training, physical therapy, exercise physiology, exercise science, physical education or a related discipline or specific certification in personal training.
Experience in the administration of physical assessments, exercise prescriptions and program development.
Ability to work variable hours as necessary.
Capable of maintaining positive ongoing communications with clients and staff.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Basic computer operational skills.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $15.75
Maximum hourly: $21.65

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
