As a Yoga Instructor, you will help patients of all ages and health backgrounds experience the benefits of physical activity at a slower, more relaxed pace. Working remotely or at one of our many facilities, you will conduct classes with compassion, openness and inclusivity. Not only can you make a lasting impact on attendees but also enhance your skills and build meaningful relationships in your community.
A caregiver in this position works various remote shifts, with occasional local travel and weekend requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Communicate class attendance and any class needs with Fitness Center staff and management when conducting class on Fitness Center premises
- Lead Yoga classes/programs in a variety of settings for employees, patients, and/or community.
- Set up facilities and create an environment necessary for the techniques.
- Attend required meetings, offer feedback and complete paperwork and compliance courses as directed.
- Conduct yoga classes in a safe, kind and compassionate manner.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Graduate of a Yoga Alliance or International Association of Yoga Therapist approved school
- RYT 500, RYT 200, E-500 RYT, or C-IAYT
- Six months of experience in a fitness environment or one year of studio experience
- Three to five years of active and current work as a Yoga Instructor
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Additional meditation/mindfulness and other related wellness topics training
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject
- First Aid knowledge
- Experience in research and disease processes
- Experience in program development
- Fluency in Spanish

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to physically execute all classes
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Requires periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the Cleveland Clinic to attend meetings
- Must have transportation and willing to potentially travel to multiple sites
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $18.88
Maximum hourly: $28.80

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
