Job Description
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will provide evidence-based clinical care to critically ill patients in adult, pediatric, and/or neonatal populations. You will evaluate, treat, and care for patients with a wide range of lung diseases and respiratory disorders, including asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, COPD, and lung cancer. Your responsibilities will include IV insertion, ECGs, peripheral phlebotomy, and other duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 3-5 years of experience in a critical care setting
