What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Behavior Analyst - Children's Center for Autism position at Cleveland Clinic?

As a Behavior Analyst, you will work directly with students and patients throughout the Center for Autism. From intakes and assessments to development and implementation of support plans, you will play an active role in ensuring each person feels valued, supported and understood while at Children’s. Here, you can use your experience to enhance the lives of patients and their families every day.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Participate in intake process for potential students/clients, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop and monitor treatment plan/goals, and generate and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Initiate and complete functional behavioral assessments, develop behavioral treatment plans, monitor progress on plans, and make modifications as needed.
- Participate in new and ongoing staff training, conduct BCBA and RBT/CBT supervision, train staff/parents on goals and plans, and conduct ongoing fidelity checks
- Lead community workshops and present at local conferences as needed.
- Communicate with parents, educators, insurance companies and other professionals regarding progress and submit required documentation.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) within six months of hire
- Three years of experience working with autistic individuals utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Three years of experience working with varying ages and ability levels, conducting behavioral assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and training parents and staff

Physical Requirements:
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes.
- Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.
- May be exposed to communicable diseases.

- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
