Description
As a Medical Assistant you will assist with patient admissions, patient procedures, care and maintenance of procedural instruments, discharging patients, chart preparation, medical records and assisting providers or other personnel as needed..
What you will be doing
- Perform data-collection functions, as delegated by the physician, to allow for proper, professional diagnosis of patients’ conditions
- Provide chair-side physician assistance
- Perform diagnostic testing
- Administer treatment as allowed and ordered by the physician
What you know
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) to five (5) years or experience as a Medical Assistant
Desired
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Able to execute quickly and efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail, effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills
